Troubel with .docx?

Many of you may be using MS Office version older than 2007. The 2007 Office  has a trendy extension for .doc which is .docx and similarly .xlsx for excel documents and .pptx for powerpoint presentation.  Now what happens when you receive a document from someone in the new format and your old MS Office simply doesn’t know what to do.
